Iberostar announces opening of more than 45 hotels in 9 countries

The hotel chain has advanced its de-escalation plan, announcing the opening of more than 45 hotels located in nine countries (Spain, Portugal, Montenegro, Greece, Tunisia, Morocco, Jamaica, Mexico and Cuba), 24 of them in Spain.

The return to “normality” began last June at the Iberostar Cristina hotel (Mallorca), allowing the accommodation of its first customers and implementing the new protocols and security measures that it has developed together with its Medical Advisory Board (CAM).

After this first opening, the chain is gradually resuming its activity in Europe and the rest of the international destinations where it is located. During the summer months, customers will be able to access the hotel chain's establishments, including hotels such as Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya, Iberostar Selection Playa Mita and Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Cancun, in Mexico; Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites, in Jamaica; Iberostar Alcudia, Park, Iberostar Selection Playa de Muro Village, Iberostar Selection Llaut, in Palma de Mallorca; Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa, Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach or Iberostar Isla Canela, in Andalusia; Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa, Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach or Iberostar Isla Canela, in Andalusia; Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park, Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace and Iberostar Selection Anthelia, in the Canary Islands.

The hotel chain expects to increase the number of operating hotels in the coming months depending on the reopening of borders, and other factors such as the reactivation of demand and air connectivity.
